Dr. Jailan Abdelrazek graduated from dental school in 1994 with honors from University of Alexandria, Egypt. She, then, spent a year of internship in general dentistry at University of Alexandria. She subsequently attended a two year advanced general dentistry residency program at University of Maryland at Baltimore where she received extensive training and gained experience in many advanced dental procedures like endodontic treatment, periodontal surgery, and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr Abdelrazek’s philosophy is to stress preventative dental care in order to contribute to the attainment of good oral health for today as well as tomorrow. She believes it is far better to prevent diseases than to simply treat them once they occur. She engages each patient in the co-discovery and realization of their level of health, allowing for choices while providing comprehensive quality care, using advanced dental techniques in a friendly relaxed, pain free environment

Dr Abdelrazek's professional affiliations include the Associate Fellowship Certification from the World Clinical Laser Institute . She is one of a select  few dentists in this area trained in the state of the art technique of laser dentistry. Dr. Abdelrazek is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, Northern Virginia Dental Society, Seatle Study Club. She is also Invisalign certified ( teeth straightening without braces).

She attends many continuing education courses in order to keep current with the latest advances in concepts, techniques, and materials in the field of modern dentistry.
